We’ve had this movie for a long time now but I didn’t really care to watch it because i watched like a 5 mins preview of it and didn’t quite like it.  So the other day – we had nothing to watch – so we started watching this show – when the kids were in bed.   Matt Damon was in it – so how bad can the movie be right?  So i stopped reading about irvingia and finished up the movie last nite.

Well, as expected there was a twist to the movie – but i won’t tell you about it.  This movies was set in the 50s and i had thought it was in the 70s – with the kind of gentleman’s hat that Matt Damon wore.  So the movie started with Matt Damon going to Shuttle Island to investigate about some missing patient who had killed her 3 children to uncover more than that.  Stuck in a terrible storm – he figured that he was being drug by the doctors there and that they won’t let him leave the island and that the lighthouse was where they perform all sorts of horrid operation and test on patient that had psychiatric problems.  It was a pretty bizarre ending and apparently Matt Damon wasn’t just the Marshall coming to investigate – he had been in Shuttle Island before.  Watch it and find out for yourself.

Another awesome movie that I’ve had in the house for a long time but failed to find time to watch it till this week.  Actually, my best buddy reminded me to watch it while getting our bathroom fixtures – now how weird is that! Based on a true and extraordinary story  – Sandra Bullock portrays – the foster mom of Micheal Oher – who became a successful athlete.    What i found most extraordinary was how a rich woman would help someone whom she didn’t know at all and put her life in danger – by going to Micheal Oher old home – to look for him and even having a word or two with those drug dealers.  Some parts i find it so hard to believe – and the family that took Micheal in were too good to be true family.   It’s like WOW!!  are there kids like that..??   I do like the movie – and everyone should watch it but like i said – the real Leigh Ann must be a really, really incredible woman – wanna be like her.

I have mixed feelings for this show – why?  and watched it while applying the  best under eye cream for dark circles.  On one hand I can understand what Samuel Jackson was doing – on the other hand – I think it is wrong. But if it was for the greater good – wouldn’t you do what you have to – to save thousands of life?  I would and I don’t think it is wrong – even though – if it meant hurting people you don’t want to or morally wrong – to save thousands of other children.

I don’t think it was a huge budget movie – because the movie revolved only one dirty and big looking building – but Samuel Jackson – of course did a awesome protrayer or this monster who seems to be able to do anything just to get results – but on the other hand is willing to do anything for his own kids – and keep them away from anything bad – even hearing bad stuff was not ok in his house. So if you are watching it make sure no kids are around – because it get gross and awful – and ugly and bloody – need i say more?

The movie “Unthinkable” is a psychological thriller centered around a black-ops interrogator and an FBI agent who press a suspect terrorist into divulging the location of three nuclear weapons sets to detonate in the U.S.

It’s funny how one can come across all sorts of movies/tv shows while shopping for patio furniture – you see – they always have some movies playing to entice you to sit and try the furniture.  Anyhow, that was where we came across The Good Guys.  I didn’t think much of it after – but the spouse – well, you know he is always looking out for movies where the entire family can watch together especially the boys.

The Good Guys is like an old school cop tv sitcom – very much like Cagney &  Lacey from the 80s – but not quite the same.   Anyhow, this tv sitcom started in May and we’ve already watched quite a few episodes  and although it isn’t a spectacular tv show – it is definitely funny in some ways and a show that the entire family can watch.   But Jack Bailey’s ex – g/f  (Jenny Wade) is definitely stunning looking if you asked me.  Can watch but if you didn’t  – then you didn’t miss nothing.
