An American girl on vacation in Italy finds an unanswered “letter to Juliet” — one of thousands of missives left at the fictional lover’s Verona courtyard, which are typically answered by a the “secretaries of Juliet” — and she goes on a quest to find the lovers referenced in the letter.

Amanda Seyfried is Sophie who was actually engaged to be married and in Italy for a pre-honeymoon.  But her fiance – instead when on a quest for his own restaurant – he is opening his own restaurant.  It was a touching movie – that’s for sure – but so flaky – coz’ to fall in love with someone else – after just a few days?  wow!!   but it was a romantic show – finding Lorenzo was the best part i think.

We are having a girl’s night this weekend while the guys are going to be gaming for the night.  We decided a movie marathon would be a good way to spend the weekend – only chick flicks of course and the one who doesn’t fall asleep or sleeps last wins a blackhead treatment from our local spa.  After all, she would need it from eating too much popcorns and drinking pop – plus not sleeping the entire night.   But of course, it will be a full facial and not just for treating blackheads alone.   Now to choose the movies – for this weekend.  Everyone gets to pick a classic  – and I chose Grease of course! I had seen Grease the movie in the movies with my sister – 8 times!  that must be a record for me – but it would certainly bring back lots of good memories.  What show would you choose for a movie marathon?

It’s no wonder: Their hearts exploded at the end of last season when the gang went into full self-destruction mode. Blair crumbled after discovering Chuck’s latest sin, while Serena went on a careless bender — which included a sleepover with Dan, and Nate nowhere to be found — after being ditched by Daddy Dearest. Before the dust could settle, Blair, Serena and Chuck split for Europe (where, sacre bleu!, Chuck got shot), Nate found solace in Chuck’s little black book, and Dan, well, found himself buried in work of a different kind.

So Gossip Girl Season 4 is back and I just saw the first episode – what do I think about it? LOVE IT!  can’t get enough of Blair and Serena!  like a school girl I am – but who doesn’t love the bitching and the good food and the first episode started in Paris!  OH ! i so love – everything about Paris. So Chuck isn’t dead – but one cannot expect him to die can we now? else what would Blair do?

Have you seen Kate Hudson lately?  yes!  i sure want her tan – I’m envious !! surely one don’t get a tan like that just by baking under the sun for a few hours?  My girlfriend who loves watching celebs tells me they use an indoor tanning lotions and go under the tanning bed.  I’ve heard of that before – even the folks here in Canada go under the tanning bed before going to Cuba – so i’m guessing celebrity does the same thing too.

But they must use some kind of special lotion or something – since I can never get such a good looking tan!  Here is what I read – so I’m going to try it out myself and let you know how simple it is.  First you have to exfoliate before self-tanning, always use the mirror – get rid of blotches before drying, try to moisturize often to make your tan last longer and wash your hands as soon as you are done.   Ok wish me luck now!

So what do you think of Paris Hilton not getting any jail time?  easy?  outrage?  I was actually reading some adipozin reviews when the co-worker came in with a picture of Paris Hilton and told me that this skinny minnie just got a slap on the wrist and that was it.   But according to what i read – Paris better not get into any more trouble – else – she will be going to jail like Lindsay Lohan.   But this isn’t the first time that Paris Hilton got arrested – if I am not wrong. The hotel heiress was arrested last month for cocaine possession but claimed that the bag didn’t belong to her – hahaha!  Such a beautiful woman and all these nonsense – many women out there would kill to have her looks and body -  yet – this one who has everything is just messing up her life again and again.  Rich brat got nothing to do I guess?

We’ve watched the Prince Of Persia in the movies and even though I didn’t think i would like movies like that – I did for this one.  In fact, this movie was only out this week and i hear it had been a good rental so far.  Glad we got to watch it in the movies – and who can resist Jake Gyllenhaal right?

Jake Gyllenhaal plays Dastan in this movie and is adopted by the King of Persia – growing up amongs royalty, he also quickly earns his place as a great warrior and prince.  The movie is a huge production – the horses and the castle and the many people involved in the movie – was quite amazing.  Anyhow, being adopted – his “brothers” planned to invade on the Holy City because a spy had sent word that the Holy City was supplying weapons to enemies of Persia. In my opinion – it’s definitely worth watching – a show that has such a production – deserves our viewing – plus it’s a disney production did i tell you?

I just watched Parenthood Season 2 Episode 1 last night and was glad they are back for another season.  With so many shows not coming back or ending last fall – i was worried this one would be too.  I do like Parenthood – which touches on relationships and family – and lots of kids stuff to learn as a parent.   The first episode teaches us to “See the spouse and hear the spouse”  pretty important to learn when one is in a relationship eh.  I do love the Season 1 casts – especially Lauren Graham and Peter Krause – who do you like best in this show? I had meant to write about this a week ago – but till today i was still hearing about it – that this guy was suing Britney Spear – yes! the singer/pop star for sexual harassment.  Hard to believe eh?  but these stars you can’t really, really expect a lot from them.  But to think that the ex-bodyguard said that she maid life hell for him?  because she tried to bed him?  Absurd?  hard to say – like i said – because you never know what actually is going on – whether they are using drugs or not.  But a 10million pounds lawsuit – i think now that is ridiculous – afterall, he can choose not to work for her right?  I’m sure there are other stars who needs bodyguard no?   Well, he needs prove of course and it seems like Britney Spears is not too upset about the lawsuit at all.  Stay tuned !  i’m sure we will hear more about it soon.

Who doesn’t want to be as hot as Megan Fox !  the spouse who saw that Megan Fox just got secretly married to Brian Austin Green told me about the news.  Anyhow – we were saying she looked so hot in the Armani underwear advert  – for me to look like that I would need some really extreme diet pills – hahha!   But yes!  if i looked like that I bet the spouse will have his eyes popped out and will be watching my back all the time – muahaha!  So I also hear that she is a great mother – now that is awesome – beautiful and a good mother – that makes a perfect partner for anyone eh.   But yes!  I wanna look like Megan Fox – but i would need lots of ambition to get exercising a powerful diet pill.

If you have watched Sex and the City 2 – one of the highlight of the show is Liza Minneli singing in the wedding of the two gay guys getting married.  And boy! was she hot!  I’m half her age and don’t look as good – nor do i move that well !  she put me to shame!  look at those legs!!!   I absolutely love that part of that show – and only found out today that Liza Minneli is Judy Garland’s daughter -!!!  And I grew up watchign Judy Garland with my mom.  I adore Judy Garland – what about you?  watch the clip below and tell me if she looked anywhere like 64?  amazing eh!
