There is a popular hobby around here in Canada – everyone I know seems to be exactly like my brother-in-law and always playing around with his ATV – in fact he has 3 sitting in the fields this winter.  And then during spring – he would get the ATV Parts he needs online and then do the work himself.    You see my brother-in-law uses his ATV to travel from his campground to civilization – so it’s mighty important to him – that at least one ATV works.  But it’s not only my brother-in-law is into ATVs – in fact – the spouse would love to have one – if it was cheap enough and don’t need a lot of maintenance.

The classic thing we do in our family during Christmas is to rent plenty of Christmas movies and watch it from sun up to sun down.  Every year – we have this family tradition – we laze around and do absolutely nothing till it is supper time and we head out to our parent’s in law for dinner at their place on Christmas day.

And there are just some Christmas movies that every love every year.  What is yours?  don’t prizes for guessing what are mine ! ho ! ho!  ho!

We went shopping for Christmas gifts for the kids during the weekend – and found absolutely NOTHING to buy for the kid.  They don’t make anything for the 7 – 12 yrs old anymore do they?  Whatever dolls or toys or board game that we can get for them – they already have from their previous Christmases.  I told the spouse that it is no wonder that parents needs to get gadgets like xbox and its games for their kids – because what else is there to buy for a kid – that age?  Absolutely crazy right?  but we need to get something for them – but wait a minute – what if you already gotten an xbox 360 for your kids – darn!  yes! games then – or an extra hard drive ?  or a xbox live subscription perhaps?  Oh my! i missed the days where we get a plastic toy for Christmas – those days will never come back again will they?

Jimmy Choo seems to be everywhere these days – my g/f in Malaysia just told me she attended a Christmas Tree light up with the Dato apparently.  In October – Jimmy Choo and UGG collaborated and announced a limited edition of the women’s sheepskin footwear products – it is said to be a capsule collection.  Those boots weren’t cheap at all – I took a peep at it today – to see if i wanted to get one for winter – but nothing pleases my eyes.  I think I still prefer Jimmy Choo’s boots and his handbags.

These days whenever we meet someone in the grocery stores or the mall – we get asked if we have all our Christmas shopping done yet a lot.   Christmas time is a bit busy for us – the kids want some custom laptops while the spouse of course wants a new GPS for his truck.  We do most of our shopping online for friends and families from away – I find it a lot easier – no worries about packaging – no worries about running to the post office – just order them online.   What are you getting for Christmas?  what is on your wish list?  I hope to get a bigger LCD monitor – and a new camera – hopefully Santa will bring them to me this Christmas – for I’ve been pretty good.

Are you missing Earl yet?  I am kinda! Earl might not be good looking and may even need acne treatment as Earl in My name is Earl – this tv sitcom was kinda funny truth be told.  But like all good sitcom, they get canned!  Earl was first telecast in 2005 by NBC.  And when everyone was so used to Earl  – the NBC network decided to stop the sitcom in 2009 and even though the netizens petition against it – they still didn’t bring it back.  Very sad indeed!

And although non of the cast were spectacularly good looking or have the best complexion or the best dress code – the sitcom was very well-liked.  I like “crabman” best in the sitcom – what about you?  But yes Earl is another character that i liked although a bit cleaning up would be a lot better and how so many girls fall for him – I wonder!

Poor Serena being attacked big time by the vicious Juliet!    Major Serena problems arise at a party & more in CW’s “Gossip Girl” episode 9 of season 4.   Have you watched it yet?  if not – don’t forget to watch it – love Juliet – so pretty.
