Found a new tv show – and show far it is pretty good.  Two lawyers – one young and one slightly older but very savvy still – doing their bit to save the innocent and some not so – but looks like the boys are not into it just for money. It’s shot in Vegas – and you will see it is pretty elaborate the casting and the background.  You will love it – if you love a good fight and law shows. This new show is only in Season 1 and already in Episode 13 – do check it out.

After watching Medium for so long – I guess I never thought the show was going to end – so it came as a little surprised to me – when I saw the last episode – and realized that we ain’t going to see Allison Dupar no more or Joe or the 3 awesome kids.   I think I like the entire cast – even Allison’s boss.  It is sad – but every good thing need to come to an end right ?  but only 13 episodes – way too short – and I wasn’t really prepared for it.  And here is the last episode – if you haven’t watched it yet.

For those who are not aware of this – there is a thing called “hunting season” and they usually starts at the end of October – but that doesn’t mean that people don’t go hunt down a deer or a moose for a meal – like someone we knew back home.  Well, of course – the spouse wants some neos overshoes because they are planning to do some outdoor stuff next weekend – since weather forecast had it predicted to be + 6 degree.  I know that you have to put on proper attire when you go hunting – not only the right shoes but the right equipment and extra food just in case you get lost in the woods.  Of course, warm clothing as well as the right gloves, boots and pants – are all the must have extras during these expeditions.  The spouse and his father always go over prepared and even have a few pairs of extra socks with them.  And yes – I get to eat some deer meat and moose during certain time of the year.

So i watch this only yesterday – but I had been meaning to watch it earlier – but never got the chance.   Jennifer Aniston is one of my favorite actress – of course I had to support her.  But Jason Bateman?  well – I’m not too, too fond of him – he seems like a grouchy ex – that I would have dumped a long time ago.  Supposedly, a comedy – but it turned out neither really a comedy nor a chick flick – lots of controversy in this movie – didn’t know where it was all heading at first.

I do like the script about this 40 years old woman – taking the bull by its horn and getting inseminated and chose to be a single mom since she couldn’t find anyone to have a kid with.  But 7 yrs later – she seems to be in a real hurry to connect with the sperm donor and start a relationship with him.  Then of course, best friend Wally – didn’t even remember about switching the sperm during the insemination party – because he was supposedly so drunk.   Hard to believe eh – but it was an ok show – nothing spectacular – now would make you cry – just a bit frustrating at times – and make you wanna smack Wally.

I never used to be fat – but when I got married – I think I became complacent and I started entertaining the spouse’s customers and also supplier’s inviting us out – i immediately put on more than a few pounds.  I lost weight after having my kids and I never turned back – I ate healthy, exercise and took a weight loss supplement – so I’m no longer that fat chick no more.  Everytime I meet someone I haven’t seen for a long time – he or she would be so envious and asked me what I did to lose so much weigh or  which diet pills work best – everyone wants my opinion and recommendation.  It’s kinda fun to see people all shocked to see that i am no longer fat.   I found my childhood boyfriend recently on face book and boy! was he also shocked to see me online and my pictures – he couldn’t believed his eyes and told me I looked more beautiful than I was when I was in the 20s – hahah!   Nope i told him – I’m not a fat chick no more.

This picture had also been photoshop but not as much as the one above.   But as you can see she sure doesn’t look anything like the above picture.  But it’s a wonderful thing isn’t it – to be able to photoshop and make yourself look so good in print.  Wedding photo shops and photographers -  should all use photoshop for ugly brides and ugly groom – now that would be awesome and i never have to diet again for another wedding party.  But it does takes a lot of patience – so they would probably have to charge more – as for me – I don’t have that kind of patience nor the time.

We are huge fans of Final Fantasy – in fact we started playing the game like 10 years ago and each time something new comes out – we would definitely want to try it out.   But before we bought FFXIII we already knew that it was linear and for some they were disappointed but it was a great game – when we tried it but also can understand why some would be disappointed and fully understand.  I have seen so many people say so many bad things about the game and all their disappointment and comments – and I really feel bad after a while for SQUARE – some really harsh words and reviews – not really called for in  my humble opinion.

I’m sure after seeing this picture – you would know why i need to ask everyone  what are the best diet pills right?  I love to snack with my tv shows – in fact – if you know me – you would know that I cannot watch a show without snacking – that’s how awful I am.  In fact, the spouse teases me all the time – that I only watch so many tv shows because I want to eat all my snacks.  Tonight I am planning on eating my favorite durian – even though my spouse don’t like the smell of it – I crave for durian and scallop snacks like the above – from Japan.Snacking is bad for the weight – but I just can’t seems to resist it  – I have no self-discpline when it comes to snacks.   So if anyone out there can recommend any good diet pills – leave me a comment eh.

When I first moved to Nova Scotia – my first house that I saw – was in Pembrooke and I fell in love with that house.  Unfortunately, the owners were American and bought the house for a vacation house.  I hear they come to Pembrooke a few times a year – what a pity – because it was only $250K to buy that lovely place.  So whenever we go on vacation we try to get a house by the sea to experience the sun and the sea without any worries of a dirty or overcrowded beach.  The Outer Banks rental came highly recommended and reasonably priced – so the next time we want a vacation in the states – I know where we will be renting our vacation home.

Mandy Wong became popular after the tvb series Suspects in Love in 2007, she was also a Ms Hong Kong Contestant.  Recently appearing in the show Home Troopers, we saw a huge change in Mandy’s acting.  Mandy played Liza Wang’s daughter and is a school teacher but quite the rebel.  We also learned that Mandy and Liza had a good working relationship and never scolded her like in the tvb drama where there was a scene whereby a huge argument with Liza and some slapping was involved.

What impressed me was Mandy shouting scene with Liza when Liza her mother in the show found out that she was the third party of a broken relationship – only to find out later that the wife was the scheming one.  Mandy said she was shaking after the scene and took her 10 minutes to regain composure.   Mandy who doesn’t like complicated relationship said she never experienced being a 3rd party – good on her – because in Asia the third party especially being a celeb is frown upon.   Good luck to Mandy – hope she continues with her good acting.
