Every woman go through menopause sooner or later and like many of us have heard – it definitely isn’t the best experience.  I know that because my mom had her menopause at 55 and was she a wreck.  Plus she didn’t really have a lot of energy to do anything.  I’m actually thinking of this Bioidentical hormone therapy austin because I had a full hysterectomy 2.5 yrs ago and even though – the gynecologist had insisted that I would be good in a few months – I still feel fear and tired a lot.  I usually don’t sleep so well – and I hear that hormone therapy can help.  I  haven’t tried it yet – but seen some good videos about it and who doesn’t want well and a healthy lifestyle right?  I sure do!  So anyhow – I’m looking up on this hormone therapy treatment not only for myself but my in law – I think she might need it too and I know for sure she need help!

So the spouse and the kid saw this on sale at our local yard sale and if it was new – it would be $12K with accessories – so they tell me.  This is a 2008 model – Arctic Cat 700 EFI ATV 4×4 Automatic.   This bike was bought new in January 2010 as a left over.  It is green in color and and thumb warmer – rear passenger seat with spare gas can.  Rear seat also has arctic cat quick connect on the seat for easy removal and working back brake light.  Battery maintainer, fender protectors with rear foot rests.  Front and back bumpers, warn 3500lb winch.  Lifetime warranty ss wheels with 27 inch mud light tires, 2 yr warranty remaining on bike.  Bike was only used for 23 hrs in total at  80km,178 miles.  So they are selling it for $9K now – and the spouse thinks its a great deal and wants to get it * roll eyes*.  BOYS!  luckily – the in law and the brother-in-law is sharing the cost – so I’m not saying anything.

For those who wants to watch blu ray movies – I’m sure you are aware that you need a blu ray machine – or a PS3 machine and also a high def TV.  I’ve seen many people go into a rental store and and complained to the poor fella at the counter that the movie didn’t work in their DVD machine – hahah!  Yes ! in fact I think you need special  video cables as well – in order to bring out the best in your high def tv and your blu ray machine.   I’m not sure about stuff like that – so lucky me – my spouse is very into all these geeky stuff and gadgets – I never have to worry about anything technical at home.  If you asked me anything about digital cable or HDMI Cables – I wouldn’t know how they look like but the spouse can go on and on and chat with his guy friends about audio and video selectors and all kinds of cables.  Well, now we only watch blu ray – if we are watching a dvd with the spouse, as for me, I really don’t care if they are blu ray or not – just as long as the movie is good.

I received an email from The Body shop this morning about an even bigger sale than the after Christmas or after Boxing day sale.  As a die hard fan of the Body Shop – I thought I should share the good news with you – so if you are into the Body Shop stuff – you should definitely stock up on all your body lotions and body butter and Body cleansing gel going for $3!  I already bought some during the Boxing day sale  – but I’m stocking up some more – for the minis are like 5 for $10 – great for traveling.  Check it out yourself! and hurry because some stuff are already unavailable like the home fragrance oil going for $1 ! crazy! crazy!

Yes!  him and his brother decided that they will do their brotherly thing – instead of fishing this year – they want to try hiking instead.  So during Christmas, we bought them some Leki Hiking Poles – we heard that they are ultra light and made with new speedlock technology.  I am totally for that instead of playing constantly in front of the xbox360 or the PS3 machine, plus any outdoor activities is good even during the winter.  They bought their own footwear for the hiking expedition – but they are only hiking around here not going to Kathmandu or anything like that – but the brothers may get their ambition some day and one day may end up there.   But hiking is definitely a good sport – and if it is a great way for the brothers to bond – I’m all for it.

Brothers & Sisters Season 5 resumes with Episode 11 that  aired on Sunday – it was quite a sad episode to be honest.  I never realized that there were so many kids in United States to be adopted – and do they really have the adoption fair like they had shown in this episode?   Quite cruel for those who are not picked ?  especially if they are just kids.

What about the relationship of the mother – Nora  and the author – Karl, really it is so easy to say “break off” or is it because they are so much more mature and know that it would be a waste of time to change the other party?  But Justin did good in this show – and possibly have a new relationship with the nurse – but how long will it last – till his ex-wife shows up and it all goes topsy turvy?   If you haven’t watched the show – you should try watching it.

My kids had asked for a bean bag – and I found this online from Geeklogic by chance – but this was home made -! darn!  if anyone knows of anyone who can make this for me – i would buy one from them. This of of a Pokemon character it seems – a lazy cat perhaps in Pokemon? hehe!  I don’t play Pokemon – but it is sure cute and fits the purpose of what we want to use it for.  So pleaseeeee!  if anyone can make this for me – I would be happy to pay.

I would love to have an Ikea here – back home we had several but I didn’t have a handy man then.  Now that I have a handy man in my children – I don’t have an Ikea nearby – how ironic is that right.  This laptop table is only $29 – and it would do well for those who wants to work in the tv room and watch your children. Shipping it from Toronto would cost too much and defeats the purpose of getting something this cheap – so I would just have to suck it up and buy something from Staples at twice the price.

Happy New Year everyone!  while others are celebrating with drinks – we are celebrating with some macanudo cigars with family and friends.  We always have a big dinner on New Year’s day and tell everyone our achievement for the year before.   We also share our dreams – for the new year – and what we hope to achieve and wish each other good health.  But the year 2010 has been good to us – our family and we can’t really complain for we have paid all our bills and we  have good health – we took all our flu shots with no complications – so yes!  it was a good year and we hope for a better one.  Celebrating with cigars is our family tradition for the men.
