Cows On the Couch

The spouse and his buddies watched some old pictures of a bodybuilding shows and award of another guy the know from town – he won 1st place for some competition.  I wonder if he is like other bodybuilders who takes creatine powders the spouse’s buddy said to me.   I mean it’s nice to see a body like that – but I really wouldn’t wanna sleep with someone with that body – would you?  yes! it’s subjective – but i think it would feel funny touching a body like that?  don’t you think?  I know that these body builders take a lot of supplement to keep in this shape and as soon as they stop – I think they lose their form?  I’m not big into the bodybuilding shows or sport – but i’m glad my spouse isn’t crazy about it either.

For many of us – we use our portables aka mini laptop/netbook or laptops for watching our shows – I wonder what we would do without our gadgets.  I watch all my tv shows on my laptop as well – but did you know that you need good internet connection to make sure that the streaming isn’t as choppy.  Another trick is to start the show and then pause the show for a bit before watching it on your portable/laptop.  That way you give the streaming a chance to catch up on the show – and then it will go as smoothly as if it was a tv show.  I think in this time and age – everyone watches their movies and tv shows on their laptop besides working on them.  I love the matt screen of my current laptop – and the wide screen – that way – i can work as well as watch my entertainments.  I wouldn’t survive without my laptop that’s for sure – what about you?

The Next Three Days stars Russel Crowe in it – started as a very happy and loving couple and quickly turned into a very sad show – whereby his wife was very roughly taken from their home in front of their 3 years old son.  I didn’t think it was called for – to do that to a kid – so sad.  Elizabeth Banks plays Lara – the wife of Russell Crowe and his attempt for many years to deal with trying to proof that his wife is not a murderer.  Next Three Days surrounds the plot where a husband tries to break his wife outta jail – within 3 days because they were gonna transfer her to another jail – and he didn’t have more time to plot another escape since she had been in for many year already – click here for more.  A very good show – recommended for all to watch – except for children younger than 12 – some explicit scenes but a few seconds only.

I’m so looking forward to going to the city in April now – because I’m going to get this new Roots colored tote.  As you all must know I already have a black one – a gift during Christmas and I loved it – carry it wherever I go – but mine is currently black in color and i do love it – but could use a more colorful one in the summer – so this came out just at the right time. Made in Canada and 100% italian leather but the only beef I have about the tote is  – it is unlined.  Now if only they had a hobo bag made of this color – now that would be perfect.  The French tote goes for $158 – though simple – I can’t resist the color.

I used to joke with my ex-bosses that my middle name was “efficiency” and if only they had this  scanner software that is in the market now – they would be more efficient than I was when I worked for them.  There is this scanner software that helps manage documents better and share information within the office/company.  Helps you store your emails and has remote backup for the things you are working on.  The best part of this software is having multi-level security – so if you don’t want your receptionist to see what your sales target was – or your presentation for a contract – it can be done.  I’m glad that the scanner software didn’t exist for us then – else I would be outta work.

2010 was a really bad year for Tiger Woods – someone whom I thought was normal and successful turned out to be otherwise – instead had a secret life kept from the public.  Because of this secret life – he lost his wife and children in a nasty and public divorce which damaged his career as well as his life.  I don’t know if I should feel sad for Tiger Woods but the above interview – a recent one talks about him coping with being a single dad and trying to move forward in his life for the sake of his children – or for his career?  But everyone makes mistake right?  so he should be given another chance no?

Sandra Bullock was named a celeb who donated the largest amount to the Tsunami affected victims in Japan I read.  Apparently, this is not the first time that Sandra Bullock had made such generous donation – bless her kind heart.  It’s good to see celebs do stuff like that instead of getting drunk and high or getting into fights – a very nice change.

There’s all the big names in this chick flick – also a family movie – you would love it.  It was pretty hilarious – and Marni – played by Kristen Bell who was an ugly duckling turned into a swan in this movie – came only to find out that her beloved brother was marrying the girl who made her life miserable in high school.  But wait – during the wedding – Marni’s mother played by Jamie Lee Curtis found out that Joanna – her future daughter in law is related to her high school friend who turned enemy.  And of course Grandma played by ever funny Betty White is the grandmother of the bride’s aunt.   So yes – they sure have a history both family!  really funny!

I’ve always wanted a cruiser for the summer – not a Shimano bike like the ones my brothers had when we were young – but an ordinary cruiser – just to go riding for fun.   But I never found any around here – so when the local shop had some like the cruiser – the spouse brought me out to take a look at it.   Pretty closed – but not quite the same – where’s my basket?  But first we are getting some hitch bike racks so that we can bring our bikes to the beach where we can paddle without worrying about the traffic in the city.   I figured with the bike racks, we can’t make anymore excuses not to ride our bikes at the beach.

Mannn! that Hilary Swank has huge teeth! hahahha!  but we all loved her of course – therefore we watched shows that she is in – good actress besides.  Conviction was a darn good movie and should be watched by everyone.  It’s about a woman putting herself thru’ law school to save her brother whom she believed did not kill an older woman.  Taking almost another 8 – 10 yrs – without a husband and raising 2 boys.  It was a very touching movie -because back then there were no DNA – and like we all know not all cops are good.  Oh and don’t forget Minnie Driver was also in the movie – love her too ! but she has grown a wee bit older in this movie  – but she was a totally different story when it comes to going to law school as an adult.
