Cows On the Couch

Well, we didn’t have anything to watch, so we found Breaking Bad – 2 seasons of it and just done watching it.  It’s a drama about a high school chemistry teacher who’s suffering from the world’s worst case of mid-life crisis and becomes a criminal.

It started out as being a very dry and gloomy show – but it did turn out a lot better after the first few episodes.  What I don’t understand is how a high school teacher can become so evil – without any conscience whatsoever.   But it is a real eye opener for me.

David Duchovny plays Hank Moody in Californiction.  I’m sure you all remember who David Duchovny is right..?? he plays in X Files for a million years.. hhahaha!! well, not quite.. but you know what i’m getting at.  So i was a bit surprised.. that he is in this kinda tv sitcom.  But it’s short.. and it’s awesome.. and i’m on Season 3 already.

A writer tries to juggle his career, his relationship with his daughter and his ex-girlfriend, as well as his appetite for beautiful women.

House Season 6 and I’m on Episode 6 .. and i’ll have to say i was wrong.  In the beginning of this season..  i thought it would be like the last few season.. but in fact. .i’m beginning to enjoy House again.  This episode .. didn’t focus entirely on him.. like the last. ..  and not so dark.  You may even find it pretty funny too.. on some level.

So Nip Tuck Season 6 started like a  last week.   I watched it today .. and as usual loved the show.   For those who love the sex.. and the gossips.. and beautiful ppl.. go watch the tv show – 6 season in running.  Gotta be doing something right eh.

Nip Tuck is it. One of the reasons I love it is because every episode shows all the screwed up things that we are capable of in society. Yet, the friendship between Sean and Christian makes this show powerful. In most of the other shows on TV (trout liver) the unstoppable force in their themes is bull shet or obnoxiously condescending. Whether it be on a news channel or comedy or disillusioned reality tv it’s all alike. But in Nip Tuck the driving beam of the theme is a friendship that stands above all the freaky things that happen to two plastic surgeons. Sean knows that Christian is the father of his oldest kid and then dated the mother for awhile when Sean and her divorced. (Julia is completely my least favorite character of the show lol). And this was only just a couple episodes! Yet, even when Sean gave up on Miami and chose to practice w/o Christian in LA, the same episode had Christian right beside him again. On the end of the first season that I started watching the show (end of 2006 I think)Sean and Christian was posing by the Hollywood sign.
I’ve really only seen a few examples in my life where family or friends last strong and survive some big hits. And that kind of perpetual loyalty and forgiveness lasting for many seasons is as rare a thing on TV as it is in life. And though there is just an endless series of crap between Christian, Sean, their son Matt and gay nurse/Christin’s new wife, Liz they always end up showing compassion on each other, regardless of the scandal. Although I am happy that Julia (Sean’s gay x wife) is becoming less of an extra I wonder what happened to their two youngest, insecure Annie or lobster hand Conner?
I always felt this was the one flaw of the show. Of all the conflict and resolution throughout the seasons, the conflict of how little real attention Sean & Julia (she was wearing a bending corset in 2000’s Patriot) show their two youngest. This is probably just overlooked by the writers. Invisible youth. In one a dream episode where Sean dreams of the whole cast in the future, Conner’s first adult self seen is him talking to a shrink. Annie’s older but less mature character was recovering from an abortion and got busted for attempting to rip off some pain meds at the hospital where her brother was in surgery.I mean, the conflict there is obvious, right? I would say that this would be a more meaningful resolution than a lot of the other scenarios they tackle.

Season six of Grey’s Anatomy on ABC starts out with one of the main characters, George, being laid to rest. Not exactly a happy beginning after the unhappy ending of season 5. Viewers waited anxiously all summer to see what would happen to Izzie, who has cancer. All this death and dying among the doctor’s at Seattle Grace Hospital it’s amazing there is someone to care for the patients.

Expect twists and turns for the 2009 season of Grey’s Anatomy. In fact, there are scheduled changes and more than likely there will be actor scandals and fan backlash that will cause unscheduled changes. Maybe this season should be summed up as “Expect the Unexpected”.

House MD Season 6 just started a few weeks ago… and like any of his shows.. i only watched it.. when i have nothing else to watch.  Why..??  because he is such a moody person.. and it doesn’t make sense that as a doctor.. he is behaving the way he is.  Some might say he is so macho.. but he is just an over confident and pretty sick old man.. in the show.  The first episode started with him killing his fellow hospital mate.. because he wanted to proof the doctors there wrong. .and that he was right.  I haven’t gotten to the end of the story.. so you can imagine.. how slow i’m gonna be .. at watching this.  But beggars can’t be choosers eh.

Brothers and Sisters Season 4 is out..!! September 27 was the first episode. whoo hooo..!!  i haven’t watched it yet.. but i really like this show.. but sometimes.. so drama rama eh..?

ABC has started releasing sneak peeks to the season premiere of “Brothers & Sisters”. First clip shows an interaction among Kitty, Robert and Kevin while the second one shows a family feud between Nora and Holly.

Showing a support, Kitty accompanies her husband in doing a TV interview. She happens to talk about an irrelevant topic about Robert talking in his sleep. Kevin convinces her that the interview is fine despite the lame statement.

Meanwhile, a celebration turns a disaster when Nora and Holly break the rules of their agreement. Holly rewards Justin and Rebecca a car as an engagement gift, something that irks Nora because they had a deal on giving nothing but a party. The conversation leads to how Holly had an affair with William while he was alive.

Big Bang Theory Season 3 started a few days ago.. but the storyline seems to be a bit mix up with the character.  The mother of Sheldon .. is not the same woman as in the previous season. So weird and so unprofessional – the writer and the directors of the show.  But it was still a good episode.. and the next one was funny too.  But i wished they wouldn’t change the character like such.. because i preferred that Sheldon’s mother was that high class professor.

Well.. it started last nite.. and of course.. i’ve watched it..! this season it is expected to take place in late 2014 and early 2015.  Pretty good for the first episode.. with Susan planning to get married again.  Edie is no longer in the show.. the rest they are still all there. So if you are dying to watch the show.. and donch know where to watch it.. give me a buzz.

You would be surprised.. but i was one of the very first ones .. to review.. gossip gals.  In fact it started on the internet. .and now it’s huge.  A blogging friend.. reminded me. .about Gossip Girls when i told her .. i just can’t get into it.  But it’s really not bad.. now that they are on tv.  So here i am just starting to watch Season 1 while the rest of the world is on 3.  If you haven’t watched it.. go check it out.. definitely worth it.
