Our basement needed some new lights – so the spouse decided that this time we are using  LED Pot Lights that has led light bulb  and even though it’s more expensive now – they only uses 4 watts of power and they last like forever.   At first, we were worried that pot lights may not be as bright as we want them to be – but looking from the above example – I can boldly say that I’m converted and convinced that LED lights will be the way we are going. It’s going cost us a bit in the beginning, but the savings is going to be tremendous and I like that the LED lights are not going to make the basement feel like a furnace during the summer.

Camping is something we do very often during the summer, so I’m also planning on getting some hardy boots for the children, the Ellen Park is where we used to go for our summer camping but this year we are going to New Brunswick – so it’s going to be a really exciting summer for us.

I’ve been following the Anna Gristina story for a long time now and even though I often wonder why  her bail was set so high – $2 million in bond or $1 million in cash – I think it would be impossible to raise her bail.  Her husband had set up a website called – helpanna.org for folks to donate money for her bail  but the money will be donated to a charitable organization once her trail is over or if she is convicted instead of returning them to the senders/donaters.  I think if people were to know that they might eventually get their money back – the more likelyhood they would donate?  even though they might not want it back?   Anna had pleaded not guilty right from the beginning of the trial and is in hold up in a terrible place – in solitude.  It must be hard on her and her family – no one should be placed on bail that high especially if she didn’t kill anyone or cheated anyone of any money.  The law may not like what she is doing but she definitely did not deserve what she is getting.

As I watched the popular Home Renovation show on tv, I’m all pumped too, to turn my old dirty looking hands me down furniture from my grandparents to something new without throwing them out.  After all, they do have sentimental values and if I can get some upholstery fabric at FabricOnTheNet.net  cheap enough, I may be able to give my living room a whole new life altogether.    From bonded leather to vinyl  but I wouldn’t mind just ordinary chair pattern fabric too because anything would be a lot better than what I have now.  I’m hoping by doing the upholstery of my old vintage furniture, we can finally really use the vintage furniture for a change instead of having there just because. I know exactly what I want for those old furniture of mine now to find a furniture company that would do the upholstery for me as I doubt I would be skilled enough to do it on my own.

I may be late for the Easter baskets delivery  but for mother’s day I’m not going to be late no more – I’ve ordered my mother’s day gift baskets delivery for both my mom and my godmother that way I know for sure that they will received the mother’s day gift baskets on time.  Since it’s mother’s day I thought I better not miss it even by a day because I know my mom would be really upset if she didn’t get a gift basket – not because of the gift but moreso because she would think that we don’t care and that is really far from the truth.  Mother’s day is just round the corner, so I figured ordering it earlier is better than later – no procrastination here.

So the kids in Seoul must loved Lady Gaga to be following her from the airport to the hotel she is currently staying in.  Spotted in the fitness center of the hotel doing her dance routine, fans quickly try to take a quick picture with her.  Gotta salute these kids – I wouldn’t do it for a million bucks – I’m too lazy!

Hong Kong film industry is holding youtube responsible for not policing its uploads the way they want it – and removing infringement and copyrighted movies like this movie A Simple Life – which is currently showing in cinemas.  But how can they be responsible as there are millions of people uploading and downloading at the same time.  It’s ridiculous !  anyhow why get into a hissy fit when the ones that is on youtube is not even a good version of the movie – I won’t be watching anything that isn’t of good quality – so stop making a huge fuss for heaven sake.

It’s definitely a miracle and fans of the Bee Gees must be currently rejoicing that Robin woke up from his 12 days coma.  Looks like he is up and awake and talking to his family too!  woohoo!!  His doctors are shocked and I’m sure everyone is as well but looks like Robin is not going without a fight!  good for you Robin Gibb!
